Meet Our Founder
Estelle Scheffer, the visionary behind Nature’s Smile, combines her background in engineering with a lifelong passion for the environment. Armed with a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, Estelle decided to channel her expertise into building an eco-conscious brand that transforms everyday essentials into acts of care for the Earth.
Her dream was to create something greater than just products. She sought to establish a movement based on mindful consumption, responsibility, and love for the planet. Guided by her belief in sustainable innovation, Estelle continues to lead Nature’s Smile with integrity, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to a greener future.
100% Sustainability
We aim to source local (Made in South Africa) products as far as possible. We try our best to support smaller businesses and encourage all our suppliers to use plastic free packaging, if they don’t already do so. Our Tissue products are all manufactured locally from Sugarcane Woodfibre – literally making something from nothing!
