Garlic (Allium sativum)

This powerful herb is anti-viral, antibiotic, anti-fungal, anti-microbial, anti-septic, anthelmintic, expectorant and anti-diabetic so is excellent to use regularly in order to support the immune system. Be sure to feed the recommended dosage, and give an occasional break in supplementation. Excessive garlic fed over prolonged periods may cause Heinz body anaemia, but when fed in moderation it is perfectly safe and highly beneficial.

Directions for use:

 

The following suggested dosages should not be exceeded. Mixed into daily food. 5ml scoop is equivalent to 4.5 grams.

Horses:
4 scoops daily (15-20g)

Ponies:
2 ½ scoops daily (10-12g)

Dogs:
Small:
½ scoop daily (2g)

Medium:
1 scoop daily (5g)

Large:
1 ½ scoops daily (5-7g)

Pigeons and Poultry:
Up to 2% of daily grain feed. Mix well into feed together with a little vegetable oil.

 

Warning:

 

Do not use in animals with anaemia. Do not use within 7 days prior to or post undergoing surgery. Do not feed to pregnant animals or foals under 6 months old. If any negative reaction is seen to the use of the supplement, discontinue the use thereof.
